What you need?
- An Email Account
- ID Card
- Phone No.
- One Clear Passport Size Pic
- Matric & Intermediate Original Degrees.
- Equivalence Certificate from IBCC in case of O & A level study.
- Original University Degree + Transcript (duly countersigned by controller of examination)
- Domicile or Nikkah Nama for Married Female Applicants (to verify father name)

- دسویں اور بارہویں جماعت کی اسناد
- اگر آپ نے O & Aلیول کی پڑھائی کی ہے تو پھر IBCCسے O&Aلیول کا Equivalence Certificate آپ کے پاس ہونا چاہیے
- یونیورسٹی کی ڈگری اور اس کا رزلٹ کارڈ (ڈگری اور رزلٹ کارڈ کے اوپر کنٹرولر آف ایگزیمینیشن کے دستخط ہونا ضروری ہے)
- شادی شدہ خواتین کے لیے نکاح نامہ یا پھر ڈومیسائل کا ہونا ضروری ہے تاکہ والد کے نام کی تصدیق کی جا سکے۔

Compulsory Step
Make your account first at HEC Portal and then apply for degree attestation
سب سے پہلے آپ نےHECکے پورٹل پر اپنا اکاؤنٹ بنا نا ہے اور ڈگری اٹیسٹیشن کے لیے اپلائی کرنا ہے
As you submit your application, you will receive a message on your Email from HEC for Initial Scrutiny.
جیسے ہی آپ اپنے فارم کو آن لائن فل کر کے سبمِٹ کریں گے آپ کو فوراً HECکی طرف سے آپ کی دی گئی ای میل پرInitial Scrutiny کامیسج آجائے گا۔
What is Initial Scrutiny?
Initial Scrutiny is a process that takes 3 to 4 days, during which the HEC reviews your submitted form to ensure that it is correctly filled out and that all required documents are uploaded.
Initial Scrutinyتین سے چار دن کا عمل ہوتا ہے جس کے اندر HECآپ کےجمع کرائے گئےفارم کو چیک کرتا ہےکہ آپ نے اپنافارم بالکل درست پُر کیا ہے اور تمام مطلوبہ اسناد اور ضروری ڈاکومنٹس اپلوڈ کیے ہیں یا نہیں۔
Final Step
After 3 to 4 days waiting, you will receive a message from HEC on your email about the scrutiny of your HEC form.
تین سے چار دن کے انتظار کے بعد آپ کو HECکی طرف سے آپ کی ای میل پر Scrutinyکے متعلق میسج آجائے گا۔
Once your initial scrutiny processed, you have to login on your HEC portal and if you chose “Walk-in Attestation (Urgent)” or “Attestation through Courier (Normal)” then according to your selected Mode of Attestation, you have to follow following procedure:
جب آپکی Initial Scrutiny کا عمل پورا ہوگیا ۔ اب آپ نے اپنے HECپورٹل پر لاگن کرنا ہے اور اگر آپ نے فارم فل کرتے وقتWalk-in Attestation (Urgent)سیلیکٹ کی تھی یا پھر Attestatin through Courier (Normal)سیلیکٹ کی تھی تو آپ کو اپنے Mode of Attestation کے حساب سے مندرجہ بالا طریقے کو Followکرنا ہے۔
Walk-in Attestation (Urgent)
Applicants
- Select Appointment Date.
- And pay fee via 1-Link option. 1-Link is present in JazzCash, EasyPaisa and any other Bank App.
- After paying the fee click on verify payment.
- Once the payment verified, download Application Form & visit HEC office on Scheduled Date.
In Urgent Mode
On Scheduled date visit HEC office, get fresh token number, submit your documents (original + one set copy). After due process documents will be returned within 2 hours.
Attestation through Courier (Normal)
Applicants
- After successful scrutiny,
- Pay fee via 1-Link option. 1-Link is present in JazzCash, EasyPaisa and any other Bank App.
- After paying the fee click on verify payment.
- Once the payment verified, download Application Form & visit nearby TCS Center, to submit documents.
- After submitting documents to TCS, upload the TCS receipt on your HEC portal.
In Normal Mode
Documents will return via TCS.

What is the difference between Walk-in and Courier Attestation?
Walk-in Attestation (Urgent)
is also called urgent attestation in which you select an appointment date and come to HEC Office on the selected date. And submit your documents (original + one set copy) to HEC and these documents returned to you within 2 hours.
Note: Applicants that select Walk-in Attestation mode have to pay Rs.3,000/- extra with attestation fee.
اس طریقے کو ارجنٹ طریقہ بھی کہا جاتا ہے اس کے اندر آپ کو HECکی طرف سے ایک تاریخ ملتی ہے جس تاریخ کو آپ HECدفتر جاتے ہیں اور اپنے ڈاکومنٹس HECکو دیتے ہیں اور HECآپ کے ڈاکومنٹس دو گھنٹے کے اندر اٹیسٹ کر کے آپ کو واپس کر دیتا ہے۔
یاد رہے کہ ارجنٹ طریقہ پر ڈاکومنٹس اٹیسٹ کروانے پر آپ کو تین ہزار روپے اضافی ادا کرنے ہوتے ہیں باقی فیس کے ساتھ۔
Attestation through Courier (Normal)
is also called normal attestation in which you send your documents to HEC through Courier (TCS) and these documents will return to you by HEC through Courier (TCS) in any time.
Note: Applicants don’t need pay any extra charges but have to wait for their documents for coming from HEC.
اس طریقے کو نارمل طریقہ کہا جاتا ہے اس کے اندر آپ نے اپنے ڈاکومنٹس HECدفتر میں بذریعہ TCSبھیجنے ہیں اورHECآپ کے ڈاکومنٹس اٹیسٹ کر کے بذریعہ TCSہی آپ کو واپس بھیجے گا۔ اس کا کوئی مخصوص وقت نہیں ہے کہ HECآپ کو آپکے ڈاکومنٹس ایک ہفتے میں اٹیسٹ کرکے بھیج دے یا ایک مہینے میں یا پھر دو مہینوں میں ۔ آپ کو صرف انتظار کرنا ہے۔
یاد رہے کہ نارمل طریقہ پر اٹیسٹ کروانے کی کوئی اضافی فیس نہیں ہے۔
Does HEC attest Matric & Inter Degrees also?
No. Matric and Intermediate Certificates (Asnaad) are attested by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).
نہیں HECمیٹر ک اور انٹر کی اسناد اٹیسٹ نہیں کرتا ۔ دسویں اور بارہویں کی اسناد IBCCاٹیسٹ کرتا ہے۔
Can i attest degree from hec in one day?
No, HEC doesn’t offer same day attestation. You have to follow the procedure.
Does the degree holder need to come in person for attestation, or can someone else do it?
No, it is not necessary for a degree holder to come in person. He/she can get degrees attested through authorized person by giving an authority letter on 100 rupees stamp paper. (for walk-in urgent service only).
نہیں، ڈگری ہولڈر کا خود آنا ضروری نہیں ہے۔ وہ کسی قابلِ بھروسہ شخص کے ذریعے بھی ڈگری کی تصدیق کروا سکتا ہے، بس 100 روپے کے اشٹام پیپر پر اتھارٹی لیٹر دینا ہوگا۔ (یہ سہولت صرف Walk-in Urgent Serviceسیلیکٹ کرنے والوں کے لیے دستیاب ہے)۔
